The Joy of Traveling: Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Joy of Traveling: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Feature image: Lake Nokomis.

The last time we were in Minneapolis was in 2024. Mary Lou and I traveled to the Land of 10,000 lakes to see artist/art educator Karri Dieken. This summer, I traveled solo. The 337-mile journey was interrupted by an incident on the road, which caused my car to be towed to a local Subaru dealership in Wausau, Wisconsin. Luckily, after a few hours, I was back on the road. The trip was short, but full of graffiti, supporting local businesses, and great conversations about art and life.
