Every year 2-3 road trips are planned. This summer, St. Louis, MO, was on this list. We decided to take the Great River Road, which begins from Minnesota to Louisiana. This 3,000-mile road follows the Mississippi River. We decided to hop on from Dubuque, Iowa with our final destination of St. Louis, Missouri. Parts of this scenic road were breathtaking until it was interrupted by road construction and detouring. Unfortunately, there is never a down time for construction so we made the most of what the Great River Road offered us.

We have always been a fan of visiting new cities. You’ll never know what you will see or experience. The list below is a compilation of where we stayed, ate, drank, or visited.

About Frank Juárez’s The Joy of Traveling
